    CLASS DESCRIPTION

    KICKBOXING:

    The Bang Muay Thai (BMT) system is a hybrid style of martial arts which is mixed with all assortment tools & concepts of Dutch Kickboxing, Western Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, and Kyokushin Karate to make the world's elite striking technique in the world of mixed martial arts.

    JIU-JITSU:

    Is a martial art and combat sport based on ground fighting (ne-waza) and submission holds. BJJ focuses on the skill of taking an opponent to the ground, controlling one's opponent, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or chokeholds.

    BOXING:

    Here at VCSA is a workout that involves a combination of punches such as (jab, crosses, uppercuts, hooks, bolo punches and over hands) and Footwork and Angles (Slip pivots, Step back, L- Shape, Turns, switches, shuffles, and the flash step) that are performed together at a quick pace.

    MIXED MARTIAL ARTS (MMA):

    A hybrid of full contact striking and grappling styles (muay Thai, Boxing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, etc...)

    BAG CLASS:

    A mixture of boxing, kickboxing, and circuit training, all done on a boxing/kickboxing bag. This high intensity cardio class will put your common everyday "Hit" class to shame.

    WEIGHT TRAINING:

    Is a type of strength training that uses weights for resistance. Weight training provides a stress to the muscles that causes them to adapt and get stronger, similar to the way aerobic conditioning strengthens your heart.
